Leather Work

I started my leather crafting journey with making sheaths primarily to offer them for the knives I had made because I didn’t know anyone at that time that could do them for me and I also came to find that I really did enjoy the process.

I use Herman Oak and Wickett & Craig leather which are both considered top notch in the sheath world.  All sheaths are made to fit the exact knife. There are several options to choose from such as standard carry, cross draw, scout, dangler just to name a few, as well as lined or unlined which I use Kangaroo for my lining as it is much stronger and more durable than any other lining I have used.  I can also do stamped patterns, and inlays with exotic skins such as lizard, barramundi, ostrich, snake etc., or western style carving.

I am starting to broaden my leather abilities by producing wallets (money clip, or roper style), pad folios, and plan on starting to make belts and spur straps by the end of the year. These will be available as I make them as well as by custom order.

All of my sheaths are made for that particular knife. If you ordered a knife from me it automatically comes with a standard vertical sheath but you can upgrade to whatever level is desired for an additional charge (will be included with the quoted price of the knife). If you want a sheath made for a knife you own, or have recently purchased from another knife maker, I require the knife in-hand before work begins but will give you a quote based on what you want and the approximate dimensions.  If you are a knife maker looking for someone to produce your sheaths for various models, I can work up a quote (must be 5 or more at a time of the same style).

Sheath pricing starts at $75 and goes up depending on options and an exact quote will be provided.

Other leather products will vary in price and will be available as I do them or by custom order.

I am a one-person shop and try to do everything in an efficient and timely manner. Occasionally things do happen that prolongs the production of your item, but I will stay in contact and inform you of any delays as soon as I can.
